The National Testing Agency has released the UGC NET June 2026 e-certificates. Qualified candidates can download them now at ugcnet.nta.nic.in. NTA issued the notice on September 24, 2026.
The UGC NET certificate covers three groups. These are Junior Research Fellowship, Assistant Professor, and PhD admission. JRF winners also get a separate award letter.
How to download the UGC NET June 2026 certificate
You log in with your application number and password. A CAPTCHA code shows on the login page. The file comes as a PDF.
How many candidates qualified in UGC NET June 2026
The UGC NET June 2026 result came out earlier, on August 28, 2026. NTA declared it for 84 of the 87 subjects. In all, 1,47,579 candidates qualified.

The UGC NET June 2026 exam was large. NTA registered 7,73,806 candidates for the 84 subjects. Of these, 6,07,151 sat the test from June 22 to June 30, 2026.
What happened to English, Commerce and Sociology
Three subjects were held back at first. English, Commerce and Sociology were held again on September 9 and 10, 2026. NTA declared those results on September 17, 2026.
How long is the UGC NET certificate valid
The UGC NET certificate proves the group you qualified in. Assistant Professor status lasts for life. The JRF award is valid for three years from the date on the letter.
NTA holds UGC NET for the University Grants Commission. UGC is the regulator for higher study in India. The UGC NET test decides who can teach in colleges.
