At CampusFeed, we believe students, parents and teachers deserve education news they can act on with confidence. Admission deadlines, exam results, fee rules and ranking changes affect real decisions about money, time and futures. That responsibility shapes everything we publish.

CampusFeed serves school students, college students, parents, teachers, school administrators, counsellors and policymakers across India by reporting on admissions, entrance examinations, results, university and school policy, scholarships, placements, rankings and campus life.

Our Editorial Mission

CampusFeed exists to make Indian education reporting accurate, timely and genuinely useful. We translate dense official notifications from regulators and universities into clear reporting that a first-generation college applicant can understand without losing the precision an administrator needs.

Editorial Independence

Editorial decisions at CampusFeed are made solely by our editorial team. No advertiser, sponsor, institution, coaching centre, university or commercial partner has any influence over what we cover, how we cover it, or whether a story runs. Buying advertising on CampusFeed does not buy coverage, favourable framing, or the removal of unfavourable coverage.

Editorial Principles

  • Accuracy first. A story is published when it is verified, not when it is fastest.
  • Primary sources. We report from the original document wherever one exists.
  • Clarity. We write in plain English because our readers include 15-year-olds and their grandparents.
  • Fairness. Institutions named critically are given a genuine opportunity to respond.
  • Accountability. Every article carries a named human author.

Our Coverage

We cover entrance examinations and results (including NEET, JEE, CUET, CBSE and state boards), university and college admissions, UGC and AICTE regulation, NIRF and other rankings, fees and refund rules, scholarships and education loans, placements and career pathways, campus safety and student welfare, and education policy from the Ministry of Education and state departments.

Sources of Information

Our reporting is built on official notifications and circulars from UGC, AICTE, NTA, CBSE, state boards, the Ministry of Education and universities themselves; official press releases and public data; on-record statements from named officials and spokespeople; and our own reporting and interviews. Where an official document exists, we link to it so readers can verify our reporting independently.

Verification Standards

Before publication we confirm the claim against the primary document or an authoritative source, check that figures, dates and deadlines match the original exactly, and confirm that a notification is current rather than superseded. Where a claim cannot be verified, we either do not publish it or state plainly what remains unconfirmed and why.

Editorial Review Process

Every article is reviewed by a human editor before publication. Review covers factual accuracy against sources, clarity and structure, fairness and tone, correct attribution, and compliance with this policy. No article is published without that review.

AI-Assisted Editorial Workflow

We may use AI tools to assist with research, summarising long official documents, formatting and first drafts. AI is a drafting and research aid at CampusFeed, never a publisher. Every article is checked, edited, fact-verified and approved by a named human editor before it goes live, and that editor is accountable for its accuracy. We do not publish unreviewed machine-generated content.

Sponsored Content and Advertising

Any article that is paid for, sponsored or produced in commercial partnership is clearly labelled Sponsored at the top of the page. Sponsored content is visually distinct from news reporting and never presented as independent journalism. Advertising and sponsorship revenue never influences our news coverage, and our newsroom is not told who advertises with us.

Conflicts of Interest

Our journalists disclose any personal, financial or professional relationship that could reasonably be seen to affect their reporting, and are reassigned where a genuine conflict exists. Writers do not report on institutions in which they hold a financial interest or a current position.

Opinion and Analysis

Opinion, analysis and commentary are labelled as such and kept clearly separate from news reporting. Opinion pieces represent the views of their named author, not an institutional position of CampusFeed.

Updates and Revisions

Education news changes quickly: dates shift, results are revised, notifications are withdrawn. When a developing story changes materially we update the article and note what changed. Substantive updates are dated so readers can see how a story has evolved.

Public Corrections

When we get something wrong, we correct it openly and visibly rather than quietly deleting it. Our full process is set out in our Corrections Policy, and our verification approach is described in our Ethics and Fact-Check Policy.

Reader Feedback

We take reader reports seriously. If you believe something we published is inaccurate, unfair or out of date, tell us and we will look into it. Readers frequently spot errors before we do, and we would rather be corrected than be wrong.

Legal and Ethical Compliance

We publish in accordance with applicable Indian law, respect copyright and attribute third-party material, protect the privacy of students and minors, and do not publish personally identifying information about students without a clear public-interest justification and appropriate consent.

Commitment to Trust

Trust is the only thing that makes education journalism worth reading. We would rather publish a story an hour later and be right than be first and be wrong about a deadline that costs a student a year.
