The CUCET 2027 scholarship pays 100% only at 90.01 marks and above, says Chandigarh University. Phase I runs from October 2026 to May 2027. One form costs Rs 1,000, and the paper holds 100 questions.
CUCET is the Chandigarh University Common Entrance Test. Every percentage below comes from the university’s own scholarship page at cucet.cuchd.in, read on October 26, 2026.
That same page puts the average scholarship outflow at 10%. So the fee waiver most students actually get is nowhere near the advertised 100%.
Industry linked courses are capped lower. A student with 95 marks gets 40% there, not 100%.
What marks does the CUCET 2027 scholarship need?
A 100% waiver needs 90.01 marks or more, in either phase. Below that, Phase I always pays more than Phase II.
| Marks scored | Phase I waiver | Phase II waiver |
|---|---|---|
| 90.01 and above | 100% | 100% |
| 80 to 90 | 50% | 40% |
| 70 to 79.99 | 40% | 30% |
| 60 to 69.99 | 30% | 20% |
| 50 to 59.99 | 25% | 15% |
| 40 to 49.99 | 15% | 10% |
| 30 to 39.99 | Eligible, no slab listed | Eligible, no slab listed |
The university page also states that migrating students get no waiver.
Keeping the money needs 7.5 CGPA at the end of each year. CGPA is the Cumulative Grade Point Average. An E, F or I grade in any subject breaks the renewal.
Phase I mein exam dein ya June 2027 ka wait karein?
Take it in Phase I if your marks will land between 40 and 90. A student at 80 marks earns 50% in Phase I and 40% in Phase II.
If the annual fee is Rs 2 Lakh, those 10 percentage points come to Rs 20,000 a year.
How many questions does CUCET 2027 have?
The paper carries 100 multiple choice questions in 120 minutes. Each question is worth 1 mark. There is no negative marking.
Turn Your Achievements Into Stories That Students Actually Read

What does the home proctored test need?
You need a laptop or PC with a working camera. No exam centre choice is offered, so the paper is written at home.
Test details go to your email ID. The official FAQ page names no admit card at all.
If your computer fails mid paper, the technical helpline is 8146947000. The university says the server records every second, so lost time is given back.
Results come 24 hours after the exam. A paper or tech complaint must reach cucet@cumail.in within 48 hours.
What does CUCET 2027 cost?
The online form costs Rs 1,000. You do not get that money back. A digital prospectus comes with it.
The offline route costs the same Rs 1,000. That buys a printed form from an admission office or an approved centre.
Each phase allows two attempts. A further attempt, or a move to the other phase, costs Rs 500.
Your best score is the one counted for the waiver. Nobody averages your attempts.
Which courses need a CUCET score?
On the Punjab campus the list runs to B.E., MBA, Pharm.D, B.Pharmacy, M.Pharm, M.Design, MCA, LLM and BA (Hons.) Psychology.
Integrated law is also on that list: BA+LLB, BBA+LLB and B.Com+LLB.
The Uttar Pradesh campus sits on the Lucknow Kanpur Highway in Unnao. Its list covers B.Tech, MBA, BA+LLB, BBA+LLB, B.Pharmacy, MCA and LLM.
Why the dates on the official pages do not match
The application page still shows a start date of 25 October 2025. It also still lists 1 April 2026 as the last exam date for Phase I.
The home page of the same site says something else. There, Phase I runs October 2026 to May 2027, and Phase II from June 2027.
Both pages were open on October 26, 2026. The older dates belong to the cycle that closed on 1 October 2026.
No last date for Phase I is published on the site. Students who plan around a deadline have none yet.
