UPDATE, OCTOBER 22, 09:55 A.M. IST
The CA Intermediate September 2026 result link is not live yet. In its notice, ICAI says the result is likely by the evening of October 22. The notice carries the date October 14.
The portal to watch is caresults.icai.org. Keep the registration number and the roll number ready. The full name of ICAI is the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India.
Its notice names the Intermediate examination only. It says nothing about the Foundation result for September 2026. In May 2026, just 2,820 of 33,304 both-group candidates passed.
ICAI is likely to declare the CA Inter result September 2026 by the evening of October 22, at caresults.icai.org. The notice is dated October 14. Candidates need a registration number and a roll number.
In May 2026, only 8.47% cleared both groups.
That 8.47% is the number to hold on to. It was 18.42% in May 2024. The both-group pass rate has halved in two years.
What the ICAI notice of October 14 says
The ICAI notice of October 14 says the CA Intermediate September 2026 result is likely by the evening of October 22. It names one portal: caresults.icai.org.
Careers360 reports that Anand Kumar Chaturvedi, Additional Secretary (Exams) at ICAI, signed the notice.
The word is likely. No clock time appears in the notice. Evening is all it says.
The notice covers the Intermediate examination alone. The Foundation September 2026 result is not part of it.
On the ICAI announcements page, that notice has a neighbour from October 14. It is a set of mock test papers for CA Intermediate January 2027.
A separate ICAI notice had opened the question-paper observation window on September 1, 2026. That was day one of the Intermediate exam.

What happens if you do not clear a group today?
The next attempt is CA Intermediate January 2027. That schedule came from ICAI on September 23, 2026.
The Group 1 papers fall on January 2, 4 and 6, 2027. For Group 2 the dates are January 8, 10 and 12, 2027.

Dono group clear nahi hue to agla attempt kab hai aur form kab bharna hai?
The next CA Intermediate attempt is January 2027. The Free Press Journal reports the exam form opens on November 3, 2026.
That leaves 12 days between the result and the form.
Counting from October 22, the first Group 1 paper is 72 days away.
Clearing one group today still counts. A cleared group carries forward, so January 2027 means one group, not six papers.
What to do if caresults.icai.org does not open
Result-day load slows the ICAI portal. Wait a minute, then try caresults.icai.org again.
Careers360 lists icai.nic.in as a second ICAI result address.
Hard refreshing does not move a queue. It only sends the same request again.
