Who must register before October 24, 2026?
Two groups must act before the deadline. Class 9 students sign up for the 2028 Matric exam, the Secondary Annual Examination.
Students in Class 11 sign up for the 2028 Intermediate exam. Only those not yet on the site must act now.
What the BSEB registration 2028 extension changes
Registration opened on September 5, 2026. The deadline was October 10, 2026, and BSEB moved it to October 24.
That gives schools 14 more days. It is the second extension this cycle, after an earlier cut-off of September 24.
Why schools, not students, must register
Students cannot sign up on their own. The head of each school logs in and sends the forms. A pupil can only hand in papers and check that the entry is done.
If a school misses October 24, the student has no other way in. BSEB has set no late-fee window for this round. That student may then miss the 2028 Matric or Intermediate exam.
The site stops taking entries once the deadline passes. No one sends a reminder.
