UCO Bank Apprentice 2026 applications close on October 29, 2026, for 530 one-year apprentice seats. The stipend is Rs 16,650 a month. West Bengal holds 86 seats, the most of any state.
The notification number is HO/HRM/RECR/2026-27/COM-02. UCO Bank’s Human Resources Management Department issued it on October 13, 2026. The online exam is on November 7.
The seat count has slipped. Last year’s advertisement carried 532 apprentice posts. The 2024 round carried 544.
This year’s 530 is the smallest of the three.
Fees moved as well. SC and ST candidates paid nothing in the 2025 cycle. They now pay Rs 200 plus GST.
How many UCO Bank Apprentice 2026 seats does each state get?
West Bengal gets 86 of the 530 seats. That is the largest share of any state.

Indian citizens can apply. Subjects of Nepal, Bhutan or Tibet are eligible too.

Each candidate must also meet the local language rule for the training place they pick.

The advertisement asks for a graduate degree from a recognised university. A final-year student does not hold one yet.

UCO Bank pays Rs 10,500 of the monthly stipend. The government sends the other Rs 6,150 by direct benefit transfer.

Why a one-year apprenticeship is not a UCO Bank job
An apprentice is a trainee under the Apprentices Act, 1961. The engagement ends after 12 months.
Careers360 and CareerIndia both describe a one-year term with a stipend. Neither reports any promise of a permanent post.
A clerk or officer job at UCO Bank needs its own recruitment exam.
CampusFeed could not open the bank’s own advertisement PDF on October 19, 2026. The state table above comes from Careers360’s copy of that advertisement.
