A two-day gap falls after January 24. JEE Main 2027 runs online in two shifts each day. The first shift is 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. IST. The second is 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. IST.
Is JEE Main 2027 registration open yet?
No. Registration for JEE Main 2027 has not opened yet. Only the dates are out.
There is no information bulletin, no fee and no form so far. No admit card date has been given. So a student cannot apply today.

How do the JEE Main 2027 dates compare with 2026?
Last year the Session 1 window was January 21 to 30, 2026. The JEE Main 2027 window is one day shorter at the front. The exam still runs across six days.

What marks do you need for a JoSAA seat through JEE Main 2027?
You need 75 percent in Class 12 for a B.Tech seat through JoSAA. The cut-off is 65 percent for SC and ST students. A place in the top 20 percentile of the board also counts.
B.Tech admission runs through JoSAA in an NIT, IIIT or GFTI. JoSAA is the body that allots these seats.
