How to download the TNPSC Group 1 hall ticket 2026
Open tnpsc.gov.in and go to the exam dashboard. Select the Combined Civil Services Examination-I (Group-I Services) link. Log in with your one time registration details.
The commission asks for your application number and date of birth. Some candidates log in with their OTR ID and password instead. Enter the security code, then submit.
Check the printout carefully. Your name, photo, exam centre and reporting time must all be correct. Carry a clear printout on exam day.
How many vacancies are in TNPSC Group 1 2026
Notification No. 05/2026 listed 26 posts. It was issued on June 23, 2026, under Advertisement No. 736. The posts include Deputy Collector and District Registrar.
Some reports say a later addendum added 20 posts, taking the total to 46. That higher figure is not yet confirmed across sources. Treat 26 as the confirmed count until TNPSC states otherwise.
Deputy Collector carries 12 of the 26 posts. District Registrar has 8. All sit at Pay Level 22.
What to do if the TNPSC site is slow
The portal can slow down close to an exam. Try again after a few minutes. Do not refresh the payment or login page repeatedly.
The exam was already postponed once. TNPSC moved it from September 6 to September 27 through Addendum No. 5A/2026, dated July 16, 2026. The reason given was administrative.
